NOV 15 7PM Intro Talk with Gen Rigpa

Special Close Retreat

NOVEMBER 15 - December 7

Collecting 100,000 Guru Sumati Buddha Heruka mantras

with Gen Kelsang RIgpa
At Home or in Upper Meditation Hall at KMC LA

Gen Rigpa will guide this special close retreat following the oral instructions transmitted directly from Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche to Gen-la Dekyong as shared at the International NKT Spring Festival 2022 in Málaga. Together in this very powerful and blessed close retreat, we will draw closer and closer to our root Guru, and create very powerful actions that will cause Kadam Dharma to flourish in our hearts and throughout the world. There is no better offering to repay our Guru’s kindness.

SPRING FESTIVAL, 2022 - Malaga, Spain
Kadampa’s have gathered together from over 50 countries, like many small streams and rivers flowing into an ocean.
Singing together in the temple has really embodied the joy that people are feeling being together again as an international community. It is wonderful to see the temple literally overflowing with people and to fill the temple right up to the golden lantern with the sound of prayers. As Gen-la Dekyong taught us, by deepening our faith in Guru Sumati Buddha Heruka, our root Guru, we can become his emanations, helping to flourish Kadam Dhama throughout the world.

About Our Community

Attending class, chatting in the courtyard or even trying a volunteer role are great ways to experience the benefits of a service oriented community.

Community is important to us. The way of being at the Center exemplifies how Kadampa Buddhist practices and modern life go hand in hand. We integrate the teachings we receive into the activities and dialogue that make up our Center life. It feels simple, harmonious and easy to enjoy your inner and outer environment.

Our Founder and Spiritual Teacher Geshe Kelsang Gyatso often says, "everyone welcome!" Yes, everyone is welcome to join the Center, its classes, events and practices regardless of faith, ethnicity, gender and so on. We know that everyone benefits from Buddha's teachings and we're delighted to have our doors open to help make that happen.

Did you know that all our classes and events are run by a volunteer team?
