MEDITATION FOR KIDS & FAMILIES


The #1 thing heard from those who begin to practice Dharma and meditation later in life is: “Boy, I wish I had started doing this when I was younger!” Learning to control the mind and develop a meditation practice early in life is immeasurably beneficial.These classes include discussions relevant to children’s everyday experiences, a short chanted prayer, story-telling, and crafts. Children will be gently guided through relaxing meditations, giving them techniques to gain confidence, concentration and consideration for others.

◊ Suitable for children aged 4 -11 years
◊ Each class is self-contained.
◊ All children must be accompanied by an adult.
◊ Cost: $15 per family, free for members

Getting to the Center

Getting to the Center is simple. We're on the corner of Franklin Ave and Kenmore in the neighborhood of Los Feliz. Street parking is available in the surrounding neighborhoods, usually within a block or two of the Center's front door.
