Everyone is welcome to this special retreat with Deputy Spiritual Director Gen-la Jampa where we will learn how to quiet our mind and look at its real nature. Through meditating on the nature of our mind, we will experience the vast space of mental peace and clarity that already exists within us.
Retreat Teacher: Gen-la Kelsang Jampa is an American Buddhist monk, the Deputy Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition, and the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Center Los Angeles.
Retreat Location: Serra Retreat is a Catholic retreat center which provides the space, in a beautiful setting, for peace, serenity and reflection. It is located between the mountains and the ocean in Malibu with stunning views. You may reserve to stay in the on-site rooms (includes 9 vegetarian meals), or arrange off-site accommodations of your choosing nearby.
Retreat Description: During retreat we take ourselves away from our usual routines, setting aside busyness and the constant buzz of technology and modern life. We learn how to turn inward to access the natural peace, stillness and power that exists within us. You are warmly invited to enjoy this special opportunity to go inside and connect with the boundless potential of your own mind.
