Saturday, November 18, 10am-3:30pm
with Guest Teacher, Kadam Rebecca
Does it feel like no matter how hard you try you can’t develop and maintain a positive and happy state of mind? Under the influence of our uncontrolled mental habits, we have created a great deal of negative karma, and as a result we now experience many difficulties and mental suffering.
No matter how unruly our mind may be, there is definitely a pathway to find peace. We have the opportunity to purify our mind completely by engaging in this ancient purification practice.
This powerful purification practice is called the Mahayana Sutra of the Three Superior Heaps, also known as The Bodhisattva’s Confession of Moral Downfalls. In this practice, we visualize the Thirty-five Confession Buddhas and practice purification in their presence. Through the power of their blessings and prayers, we can swiftly purify even the heaviest negative actions.
In this special course, you’ll learn the meaning of the practice, the powerful purifying ability of the 35 Confession Buddhas, and gain confidence to engage in this practice on your own.
In this course you will learn:
– How to engage in physical, verbal and mental prostrations
