EVENING OF BENEFIT & BLISS
Our first Evening of Benefit and Bliss since before the pandemic will be on June 4 (Geshe-la’s birthday!). Guests will enjoy mocktails in the courtyard, entertainment, a sit-down dinner in the meditation hall, a silent auction, a raffle, and of course the company of Kadampa friends.
Study Program Donations for the Silent Auction
FP and TTP classes usually sponsor a silent auction item.
How it works:
- You donate money for basket items
- A kind Sangha friend will create an auction gift basket using the total funds donated by your class
- At the event, guests bid on the items. The highest bidder takes it home, with proceeds added to the fundraising total.

Other Donations
To make this event special, some Sangha friends have donated goods and services.
Examples:

Artist – painting
Pianist – three lessons

About Our Community
Everyone is welcome
Community is important to us. The way of being at the Center exemplifies how Kadampa Buddhist practices and modern life go hand in hand. We integrate the teachings we receive into the activities and dialogue that make up our Center life. It feels simple, harmonious and easy to enjoy your inner and outer environment.
Our Founder and Spiritual Teacher Geshe Kelsang Gyatso often says, "everyone welcome!" Yes, everyone is welcome to join the Center, its classes, events and practices regardless of faith, ethnicity, gender and so on. We know that everyone benefits from Buddha's teachings and we're delighted to have our doors open to help make that happen.
Did you know that all our classes and events are run by a volunteer team of 60+?! Check out the video below:
