The Evening of Benefit and Bliss is KMC LA’s fundraising party.

With the goal of continuing to grow our Center so we can help many people in Los Angeles find inner peace. We’re so happy to be able to host this fun and meaningful event again! This year’s Evening is on June 4, and the fun begins at 6:00pm.

The evening starts with live music and mocktails in our courtyard. After that, we move indoors, and Gen Rigpa will kick off our evening with a talk and short meditation. Then we’ll enjoy a delicious sit-down vegetarian dinner. During dinner, you can bid on items in our live auction, or cruise the silent auction items and write down your bids for the goodies you’d like to take home. You can also buy raffle tickets, and you just never know what you’ll win!

About Our Community

Everyone is welcome

Community is important to us. The way of being at the Center exemplifies how Kadampa Buddhist practices and modern life go hand in hand. We integrate the teachings we receive into the activities and dialogue that make up our Center life. It feels simple, harmonious and easy to enjoy your inner and outer environment.

Our Founder and Spiritual Teacher Geshe Kelsang Gyatso often says, "everyone welcome!" Yes, everyone is welcome to join the Center, its classes, events and practices regardless of faith, ethnicity, gender and so on. We know that everyone benefits from Buddha's teachings and we're delighted to have our doors open to help make that happen.

Did you know that all our classes and events are run by a volunteer team of 60+?! Check out the video below:
